I am looking to order a new waterbox for my rok build, and have it narrowed down to either a h20 designs flowbox, or a new baffled tdr from blowsion. I have had tdr boxes in the past, and was super happy with the quality, and they had a low rumble instead of a buzzy sound. Any input on the H20...

or just get a cool steering that uses rrp bars....

I have the riva lever and its nice, no slop and has a return spring also.

you will need exhaust hoses, which will depend where you put your waterbox and how you route them. I was able to use a few different oem hoses, and made them fit so I can still use the oem extinguisher tube.

I would just look for a clean used waterbox.

The type of power that a triple produces is much different than that of a bored/stroked twin. I have a mild yamaha 1100 in my blaster, and it has tons of torque, pulls from right off idle all the way to wot.

Looks like someone has already resealed your waterbox. Don't gut it there is zero power increase and it makes it extremely loud.

I have two, rok for freeriding, blaster 1100 for going fast/carving. Would like to add an 1100 sxr to the fleet at some point also.

Where did you get those prices? I might look into a 550 tank if they can still be bought new. I didnt want to put a 40 year old tank in my brand new ski haha.

is there any trick to getting your wamiltons chinpad to fit tight in the front? I just bought a used one and it has a gap between the tubes and the pad.

That is a great idea, I will have to snag a few of those foam pieces from our body shop dumpster.

Toby left my ski with no foam in the tray when he built it, it has two yamaha drain plugs with versi plugs. I plan on stuffing some pool noodles in front of the waterbox. Toby said to ride it first before I put the deflector on, but it wont hurt.

I agree with everyone else, if you have a wakeboard boat hit the first one 5-10 feet behind the platform, let off the gas when you drop down, then gas it as soon as the nose starts climbing the wake. This is how I do it, and have a blast launching it.

Does the splash gaurd really make that much difference? Mine came with one but I haven't mounted it yet.

tried heating it with a heatgun but I am using the reinforced hose from mcmaster so it wasnt going to work?

I am trying to go from the 3/8 fitting on the pump to the 1/2" through hull line.

I am looking for something to adapt my 1/2" hull tubes to 3/8" line, I am using reinforced line and it will not stretch over the tubes. Is there something from mcmaster possibly?
