Nice choice! one hassle of an extended cab is if you have a small garage or are in a tight parking spot a lot of times you cant swing the front door out far enough to get the back door open.

I had a cdi go bad once that caused some odd intermittent issues. wouldn't rev quite right, slap a wave and it would run decent again.

The hvlp guns work fine as long as you clean all the sealant out. Used them on a daily basis to paint commercial equipment and never had an issue

The two part foam does absorb water, so if you think you have a leaky bond line it's probably not a good option. My ski has no foam, two small versi plugs, and one 3/4" maxi plug, and one rule 500gph bilge. On plane my ski can empty the whole bilge extremely quick. The versi plugs have not...

Have you tried trimming back your plug wires? I had a 61x with crappy plug wires that ran just like that. It ran slightly rough, wouldn't hit hard and had excess fuel coming out the exhaust

The small engine is key also. I purchased a php 4 mil motor halfway through the season but opted to leave my limited 701 in to learn how to ride the hull.

The rok is literally the perfect do it all ski, I can hold it pinned for ages as long as you have your weight right it doesnt porpoise at all, It gets huge air off wakes, and you can still kinda carve on it, and it breaks loose when you want it to.

You sound like a perfect candidate for a wdk rok, I am a mostly recreational rider, and it works perfect for all around riding.

I have never used glue on any that I installed. I like to cut the ends at a 45 degree angle, seems to keep the water out better.

I really like my Ada fat bar steering plate. I use it with an Ada bearing assembly, and a blowsion krok collar so it doesn't come loose. This has been a bulletproof set up. Any steering system should be disassembled and greased once a year.
