brushes came out one time wen i had an old starter apart i jus used little zip ties to hold them in there and removed them before putting cover on

i got the same problem right now with a 750 sx i am putting back together. you hit the button and the solenoid just clicks. i put the working starter and battery out of my sxi pro in and still the saem thing. this leads me to believe the solenoid is junk. will let ya kno if i get it working...

that 4 prong connection for the start stop switch has gone on my sx and my sxi. i just cut them out and put on bullet connectors, the waterproof ones. but yeah new battery is a good place to start.

ya i am sure the shaft is cracked right on 1 of the screws that hold the butterfly i can see the butterfly has been moving the screw is mushroomed so its not supposed to back all the way out but it was loose and i cant afford to have a screw goin through my engine

my 750 sx has a small pin ( 10 bolts on the intake manifold) my 750 sxi pro has a big pin (12 bolts on intake manifold)

jus bypass it if there is no water in the sensor to trigger it then it wont give ya any problems mine is still there with no hoses attached my buddy removed his completely and there is just a hole now where it was either way jus bypass it and you will be fine

it senses the cooling water temp and if its over a certain temp it goes in limp mode but u got the idea just bypass it and keep an eye on things if u see steam and not water out ur pisseer then stop. haha should be fine tho i dont run it nor does any of my buddies who ride 750's.

all that sensor does is put your ski in limp mode if it over heats with most aftermarket pipes ( i have a factory pipe) they suggest disconnecting that sensor jus go straight to the pisser good luck
