ive heard that and had it happen with my 93sx its got a k&N but i got a factory pipe goin on the sxi and factory pipe "recommends" aftermarket filters does it really matter if u run a stock airbox with the factory pipe is it gonna make it run crappy or anything?

to answer the first question i am runnin it with stock carbs which are dual 40 mm mikuni but i am changin the pilot jet to an 80 from 75 the thing is there is ice bergs in the river rite now so i cant test it till its get warm again and the other answer is i wanted to put the pads...

i ride flat most of the time but we get a lot of big boats comin throuigh our river u can get sum pretty wild surf conditions on certain days out in the lake (huron) but u think the straps arent enough ? fottholds are a must?
