Not to fight at all i belive that it doesnt matter because you have ran the head with a stock gasket for ever but the domes sit a tad lower on my head but might not be 100% pressed in and could press in more once torgued down and this gasket is bigger and lets the orings seal sould work in my...
Thanks guys for the input but i cc what you mean by just getting a 650 gasket but the reason i have to use this gasket is this is a west coast head with removeable domes so they have o-rings that are bigger so the 650 stock gasket is way too small and the head is soo old they dont make any more...
I was told to get a 800 sxr head gasket for my ep7500 head for 650 but the cooling holes dont line up should i cut them to match? Also what way does the gasket? bumpey side up or down
I just picked up a ep7500 west coast head and want to replace the orings. Been told to just put some old spark plugs in and tap on top of them to pop the domes out. Tryed and failed the domes dont want to come out tried some pb blaster and still nothing. Anyone have some ideas to get the domes out??
Just picked up a west coast head ep7500 with 29cc domes. The o-rings are not looking to good and would like to replace them just how?? And what head gasket do you use?? the stock one goes over the o-rings when u place it on the head not sure if it should like that
I got this 40 mm carb for free a few days ago and thinking about putting it in my 650 sx but need a manifold! Iv herd of just takeing a dremel and makeing a 38 to match a bigger carb or if i should find a manifold or even send it out to get it bored? Also how much of a difference is a 40 mm carb...
Nope just the front plate off a sit down but iv seen some with side by side too i think just different years but yes i would find a up and down one and just switch the plates
