    Jason Stoyer Setup

I believe his normal boat is a 785, stock stroke, w/ a Riva single intake w/ new style 49 Novi - at least that's what I've seen when I looked and talked to him at the rides! Good setup, makes me want to try it.........

Can anybody identify my set up?

BTW, that is a Riva single carb intake setup, using a 650 Kawasaki intake manifold bolted to an adapter plate. Likely already has aftermarket reeds in there!

Can anybody identify my set up?

62T cases, sometimes referred to as "Raider" cases. Or, 64X, same thing. Source your reeds as such, cages are same for 701/760 dual carb, although you now are running a single carb w/ adapter plate. XL700/GP760/96+ SJ/96 Blaster/Raider & Venture/etc. all use same cages and reeds. Many...

    Look what I made today

I usually space mine at around 12 or 14", you can make a rig by your shoreline w/ PT 2x4's or 2x6's, w/ either carpet or plastic sliders, and simply winch the ski up the bunks. Easy 1/2 day project and it keeps the ski secure!

    couch opinions

I agree to some extent; I have rebuilt many 66E's and V's - but the failures can be prevented easily. Main problems on E's are the PV's, WaveEater clips solve that - main problem on V's is the rear oil line slippage, also very easy fix. I have never seen one fail that wasn't due to those 2...

Why avoid the PV motors, more power w/ good fuel economy is bad to you? Like to stick to WRIII's and be stuck in 1995?

    Trailer?

It's no big deal to haul on a larger spaced trailer, sandwich a few 2x4's in there and you're ready to hit the road. Or, like has been said, usually adjusting the bunks is no problem! I'll help you out if we meet up!

I need some help here please

Flushing is critical in salt, if you ride mostly in fresh you will be fine - flush kits are very easy to install/use, only a few minutes and it saves alot of corrosion down the road.

I need some help here please

Where in the country are you located? I have a '95 SN here in NC, depending on location maybe we can work something out! Edit: Looks like you're by ATL, only ~3.5 hour drive from me!

On Site Premises and Venue Pic's

LKN has ~530 miles of shoreline, if you can crowd it w/ standups that would be quite a feat!

    550/650 flatdeck conversion

Personally, I'd trim those sharp edges down so that you match the slope on the "control panel" part in front of the tray - smashing your forehead into those wouldn't be nice! Otherwise looks good!

    Torpedo SN Build

Lovin it, we'll have to swap skis for a bit on LKN this year, I'd love to see how those sponsons perform! Hope that 650 hold up for you this summer, if it doesn't, we'll get you hooked up with at 701!

    Nikad

I'd venture to say that nowhere in your ramblings was a "real" excuse as to why these guys had to wait so damn long for their stuff - all of it was your fault. The UPS thing is a half-ass one for sure, it's not their fault that you can't differentiate 2 UPS accounts from one another, or...

    single vs. twin carb

Your best bang for the buck would probably be to go with a bigger single carb - i.e. the Wetjet setup (46 SBN w different intake) or some other larger single. I have a Wetjet 46 and a Riva Powerbomb 48, both will be available soon if you're interested.

    Yankeeboy A+++++++++

Bought a motor from him, shipped quickly and great communication, great deal too! Packed in a sturdy box w/ 1/4" plywood in the bottom, and motor was secured to 2x4's so it wouldn't move. Thanks for the great deal man, and the packing job!

    62t 61x questions

That is a good deal; I assume it's 62T cases, dual Mikuni 38's on a manifold, and a crank? Great deal if its clean. Putting 61X electronics on it is super simple, bolt your stator and flywheel on and you're good to go. Good luck!
