    Dual 44 Mikuni observations

    yea that's pretty much EXACTLY what mine was doing. my compression was good too. you may not have detonation or anything, but i'd bet you anything it's being caused by something other than jets/ns

    Dual 44 Mikuni observations

    when mine was acting like yours is, i thought it was a n/s problem too. turns out a very small screw went through the rear cylinder and there was minor detonation. it wasn't enough to make it run real bad, but it made it seem like a carb issue. have you inspected the pistons/cylinders just to...

    ~~~XFT custom paint design contest~~~
    would it be possible to make it so people didn't know who did what picture, kind of like SBToday's photo contest? just wondering because people may want to vote (or not vote) on stuff based on who did it.
    My new R.E.V. ski from Waterdawg
    ummmmmmm you people that don't read and jump to conclusions crack me up. i stopped defending jeff's business practices long before i even got my hull. i don't really think anyone argues that he's slow and has poor CS. i only defend his worksmanship because it is top notch and has never had...
    My new R.E.V. ski from Waterdawg
    wow, i just found this thread. nice ski! did you get the parts yet? i don't know what to tell you. (technically) jeff owes me a CF rideplate and CF chinpad from a year and a half ago but i pretty much let it go about 11 months ago. however, you can't get that pipe or gas tank anywhere else...
    New Waterdawg Footholds
    there's no nose foam in the x-jets, (like almost all other am hulls). the foam he removed was in the back, like butti said.
    New Waterdawg Footholds
    yep i plan on it unless something unforseen comes up. sub you can ride it too. :beerchug:
    New Waterdawg Footholds
    not that i want to get involved with sub's usual bs, but i figured i might as well set this straight for those who might be tempted to believe everything sub says. No x-jet has sank from a design flaw. it has been stated NUMEROUS times that the x-jet in kansas sank because the owner personally...
    Ruptured Eardrum.......again
    oh yea earplugs definately reduce the chance of it happening, but it would still happen if you hit very very hard. (by that time you've probably got other problems too). i rode lake michigan for 5 hours today with a full face and no plugs and got the ear crazy wet, so hopefully the doc isn't...
    My planned BR/backflip weekend killed early
    damn that's too bad you didn't have internet because you could've come up here and grabbed my extra plate, i'm only like an hour from where you were.
    Ruptured Eardrum.......again
    nope no earplugs. if you have non-vented earplugs, they won't help. when you put them in, they create an air pocket between the plug and your eardrum. then, if you hit hard enough, the ear plug forces that air pocket through your eardrum.
    Ruptured Eardrum.......again
    i was actually thinking that when i bought this gath helmet. i have a tendancy to slam my head pretty hard to the side on rolls gone bad, and i was wondering if a bulky heavy helmet would cause some neck problems.
    Ruptured Eardrum.......again
    that protec helmet looks nice, i may have to look into that.
    Ruptured Eardrum.......again
    well i've tried a motocross helmet before, they're just too big and bulky. the bmx ones are the way to go, i just gotta find one with no vent holes. i actually have those proplugs from last time, they're great until they actually get wet, then they slip right out which kind of defeats the...
