am i nuts or is the rectifier unplugged?
Anymore specific photoes you would like? I can get anything, really.
when is the fuse blowing? when you hit start?
Is there a way to run a wire from the start connecter, to the relay? Basically bypass the other wire already there?
It WAS plugged in when it did it,
I dont know if it will do it with it unplugged..Will it start with it unplugged? I am going to see if I have another fuse and try starting it again and find when the fuse busts. Be right back...And I ll get those pics.
was the start switch connected at the time?
i would disconnect the start sw and rectifier then hook up the battery. if the fuse blows as soon as you hook up the rectifier, you have a bad rectifier or stator. im thinking stator. thatd explain the fuse blowing and the no ground to the box.
keep in mind that if theres no ground to the box, the relay wont engage even iff you connect a lead directly from the batt pos to the brown wire on the relay
