what is going on , have we lost the love for the old school legend x2, x2 addict parting his, motorhead sold his , crabs was for sale, i dont ride mine to much, seized pistons no hurry to put back togeher, x2 rags no longer has one, the tricked out x2 in harrisburg the green one with the 701 was parting out, shawn nj rides a superjet conversion,wadman doesnt post as much anymore, pete jacobs does he ride his anymore?

im still here. i went for the first real ride (longer then an hour) this year last weekend. and will be riding tomorrow.

as for pete he sold me his 840 and was building a light weight but got ripped off by the new owner of 24/7.

hows petes 840 running, I was with pete today, he has rode some this summer, but he has also been riding trails and stuff, he took 2nd in unadilla last week, Vet C class

he also picked up a WB2 this summer, when we were out during hurricane bill someone from the local paper caught him on it and put it in the paper

Spent a few hours yesterday stripping down a new to me 86 basket case.
Previous owner douche let a perfectly good motor sit with the cases full of salt water for a few years.
She'll see water soon enough.

i literally just got done putting a factory pipe in mine. it was a pain, but it needs nothing else but water. if it wasnt pitch black outside i would take it out

Just got me a 95 2 weekends ago. So there are some of us coming over to the X2 side as well.

I can tell you now, I freakin love riding the X2. Mine won't get seriously modded, just maybe a few power adders, and cleaned up/fix issues. Wet foam is going to be a major one and might do the Tom21 tubbies and bottom fill.

i still ride mine as much as i can. i went to the blowsion surf slam with mine last weekend. got tumbled in the waves a bit but still running strong, i think i got some salt water in the electronics though i gotta go through it...I dont think ill ever get rid if them!

no i didnt compete. i know there was an x2 that competed in the amateur classs. not sure on his name but his motor was a 650 bottom end with like an 800 pjs top end...from what i think he told me....

I just picked up mine this season. I was plauged with a few issues, but the ski is up at my buddy's house right now and he is going through it. I should be up and running in now time.

I love my X2, just can't afford to keep it. No matter what I do it doesn't want to hold up to the abuse.. I need a real boat to progress on. I'll have another X2 someday, but never for a primary ski again.
