Great riding & video. Where do you have it mounted at? I have an Epic Stealth cam and the quality is not even close to the go pro. But I have zero problems with water droplets on the lens.

Hee...hee...mowing the lawn is fun! No waves this weekend......so rippin' the creeks it was.

Vid looks cool, gotta figure out that water spots/blur issue though. Looks great for first attempt. Wide angle doesn't do that first creek justice, does it?.....it's about a foot wide at spots!

If your having drip problems put rainx or similar product on it... you can even use a real mild car wax.

dang, Special FX, i wanna ride your fx1 so I can compare how a good fx1 setup rides next to my 550....

The Epic has a little plastic disc for the lens cover. The water beads up like rain x. It clears off with vibration. We had it facing backwards and it stayed clear. I need a better mount though the shaking will make you sick.

SICK! Raise that camera to your head for less splash and do it again! thats AWESOME, endless reed riding is such a rush to watch for some reason.

Cool "first" video with the Gopro! You will have to video the "dirt bike" trail next time (a section of creek that goes through a shrub area, real shallow with a bunch of tight turns).

Does riding in spots like that mess your ski up at all? Looks like alot of fun!

Not too much, only when you accidentally go from "mowing the lawn" to the "Landscaping" mode, You might need some "MX" gear. Riding in the "creeks" when the surf is all blown out sure beats that sitting on the "couch"! It improves your riding skills (when you actually ride slow, fast, and turn a lot).
Another hazard "big drag "is when you slow up behind the group, make a WRONG turn and end up in like 2" of water (everyone has done this...Ha Ha). The bottom is BLACK mud and real soft and it's a real beiotch to push the ski out to deeper water and re-start (Soon the Greenheads will be hatching out to bite the crap out of you when you wrestle getting un-stuck....added fun).

I wish i new of some spots like that around here :(
Ive ridden in a few areas that weren't nearly as narrow but still a ton of fun. If i pickup a go pro ill have to get some vids of the river i ride up. Its short compared to what you guys are doing but very cool scenery. The end of the riding opens up to a waterfall and small pool.

I am going to be trying a bunch of different mounting point in the next couple of weeks.

That was fun to watch bro. Hey, what's with the crazy little black dot in front of the sun?

It is the sun, we were trying to figure that out too.
