Best solution is to send that crappy arse pipe to me for proper disposal, and put the stocker back on...........:smashfreakB:

Maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way, but if something already is rubbing on another part, then jamming more stuff between them is compounding the problem. Should have been done right the first time.

Unless there's a tiny gap there and the vibration/movement is causing the (occasional) rubbing.

**Occasional in this case still means several times a minute.

i dented mine with a dead blow hammer where it would rub the motor mount. But i still have 3 spots where it is rubbing through my reinforcement because i added material on the side of the hull. There is no other way to fix that. I'm not denting the pipe along the welded seam.

id rather have it rub through some turf than the side of my hull.

Why not? I stuck it to the hull not the chamber. Will it rub that chamber?

Oh....you said turf, yeah turf it :icon16: Or just hit it with a hammer till it fits. My chamber did not sit agains the side of the hull but it was to close for comfort so I put some turf between just for a piece of mind...my reinforcement is very thin though too.

Meh.....I've been running my Mod chamber for 3-1/2 years without any padding without issues.

When I ran my ski without re enforcement I did not need padding on my mod chamber.

After re enforcement I put turf on the chamber before the first ride, so I don't know if the added fiberglass would have affected it. Upon last removal of the chamber the turf still looked intact/great, so I don't think it would have rubbed.

Mine's reinforced, too. Still, no turf on my chamber.
