Fuel TV+Jet Ski Free Ride. Why Not?

i find it funny that a tv channel named "Fuel" is against something that uses fuel. sort of ironic.

or the irony that they said jetskis were loud and smelly. Aren't dirtbikes and snowmobiles just the same thing? I am pretty sure without consulting any facts that many more idiots die on snowmobiles and do more environmental damage then us jet skiers. If for no other reason then the volume of riders in each sport.
Coverage, exposure whatever can be good or bad. I really like the documentary idea. But after reading this threadi am content to relish in the fact that this sport IS really small and likely to stay that way. Nothing wrong with being small, "under the radar" how i see it, is probably the safest if we want to continue to ride.
I thing the couchers have already ruined it enough. I kinda like the sport the way it is now. :shhh:

Not all surfers hate.The best most inovative free riders are also sufers.It is evident by the non stop barrel roll,nose stab and back flips that the wave is a moving launch ramp for most.There is nothing wrong with that but you will learn nothing about riding the wave if your whole tank of fuel is burned that way.How about how late or how vertical you can get the ski when hitting the lip or can I do a floater over this entire section instead of riding in front of the wave around the breaking section.Only a small percentage of people that ride in the surf can read the wave and ride the entire wave top to bottom.The wave has been there the whole time waiting for you to learn how to ride it.It takes a long time to learn to master.For some longer than others.I'm not going to choke and I invite you to ride the wave.Enjoy! well im sitting here watchin the great ride open thinking god dammit why is this not with jetskis....... but alas.... some things have changed compared to when this thread started. lets re-cap.
jetski was on nitro circus.... only for about what 4 min then andy bell called everyone "jetski douchbags" thats awesome....considering that dude is just a tool IMO.
malone just did a ramp jump for thrill billys on the Q8 so well hopefully see something with that. granted its not surf but at least its air time.
malone and gomez did work on a movie coming out called "I am number 4" so thats awesome.
the "Hot Water" movie is in filming stages, with footage from WF, hopefully they will throw some freeriding on there.
a show called "Adrenalina" which used to be aired on Fuel TV(now airng on a diffrent channel i cant think of at the moment) showed some footage of pierre which was awesome.
Jerry Jones just got HUGE exposure for the sport in forbes magazine. just awesome.
BUT....... still no fuel tv like, segment, and plus they shut down the forum on their site.
things deff are changing since i started this thread tho and that is a plus!

But, keep in mind: Everything that would be entertaining to an average viewer, both flatwater and surf, could be done in a single episode.
And the surf part would be at the mercy of the waves.
I remember a show in which Ross was gonna try a double BF, but the waves just were not there for it. (Stunt Junkies?)
However, even a single episode would be cool!
