Other Opinions on '87 X2 as Backup Ski

I am looking at a very clean '87 X2 w/650 that is for sale locally as a backup-guest ski, mostly for lake riding.
Stock graphics that look garage kept, newer hydro turf.
Interested in opinions on if this is a good idea and what is a fair price.

Ive only ridden one.

and I can say, I dont care for them at ALL.

that one does look good though, if it runs, and is legal and all that, it might be worth $500 to ME personally.

offer 400 dollars , x2 is a great ski lots of fun i have tubbies 11 s on mine with a few cheap mods its really good , its great when you ride the superjet for a while then go on a x2

those are cool skis, so if you can get it for cheap, def. pick it up.

As for "backup-guest ski" it should be good for some laughs watching someone new try to get back on it out in the middle of a lake when they fall off. :biggrin:

Good point, but actually "backup-guest ski" is secret code for "another toy for Dad". Guests can stick with the WRIII. : )

...if you really want to have a laugh, take the "guest" to the ocean and watch them try to get back on it.
