If it's a hip and my ankles aren't even what should I do?
Check to see if your legs are the same length, if they are not you need to see a Chiro. A great way to keep your hips/back/arms/legs/etc healthy between rides is to foam roll everyday, or at the least before and after riding. Youtube and google on how to do different areas.
Edit: when the high density roller stops working for you, go to the hardware store and get a pvc pipe.
