Whoa...I wouldn't bore up to 84mm if I were you. You'd probably be safe, but you wouldn't have any (maybe one) overbores left.

Besides, displacement isn't the end-all answer to power, either.
Unless you get a good deal on either machine work or pistons, you'd spend 250 bucks on boring up. You would also have to get a different head, different domes, or get them machined.

For that type of money, look at dual 44 carbs (for 62T cases), port your cases (almost free!), bump your compression, look for a cheap Total Loss (not likely), or aftermarket reed system.

I forgot!
well i have extra ada domes to cut, the ski is 11 years old and still running stock bore, and pistons/rings/gasket set isn't to bad $$$ wise. i don't care if i have no more bores after that cause i will eventually be getting a lamey, no time soon but that is a long term plan, so really i think it will be worth boring and freshening up the old jug if i can get another season of riding at 753cc Group K said it was okay to do so i am not to worried about reliabiltiy issues. i guess i see what happens.

You seem to be aware of the issues....let us know how that runs on 760. Remember, you'll have to cut ALL the ports bigger.

any help would be great!!!

I'm pretty sure the sport port gives you acouple optionsas to the amount of work you do and what rpm it affects. it doesn't do anything for the transfer or boost port, just the exhaust and the bottom of the sleeve.

you should start a new thread to get some good replies.

There are two different Sport Port templates available. For bottom end, I would pick the newer template.

They are supposed to work for the 701/760.
However, for the 760 I would highly recommend cutting the exhausts wider than the template. The template is made for the more conservative 81mm bore (701). At 84mm bore, the exhaust port must be bigger to keep its relative size in relation to the bore.
The template does not account for that - so the port must be cut bigger than the template.
