I've got the new Sport Port template

D-Roc

I forgot!
i did it on my stock 701 61x last summer and i think it made a very nice improvement, it is hard to describe how much power it makes but my ski just felt way more rippin and fun. i know that sound cheesy but even watching a buddy ride my ski after i did it i could notice it pulling and working better. it was as much improvement from my scat 9/17 non swirl to my 13/16 3mm cutback solas.

sweet,
i am on the fence
z force is offering $275 port jobs now .
this costs, say 90 bux, plus i need a new dremmel, right angle attachment, and the cutters.

in the end i willhave some new tools.

just trying to decide which is the better way to go

if i cared about getting 100% out of my cylinders and getting the best job, i would go to a professional, no doubt. There is a lot more science to it than increasing a width of a port, ect.

But I'm the type that wants to be involved with everything on my ski and I take pride in figuring things out and doing things myself. So I prefer not having everything fine tuned to the nth degree right off the bat, I like to see whats envolved along the way to get there.

The sport port is a great step to add some good performance. Think of it as adding a pipe or other mod.

that is how i am too.
sometimes i lack the fortitude to to it the best i can but i enjoy learning.
not so much the extra bills i create doing it though lol.

but in real world tests how much noticable gain will i see pro vs. sport port done right?

i am not worried if it's not going to be hugely noticable ( like 720 p vs 1080p hdtv)
