Yeah man NOTHING to do. the only thing to do out here is drink so everybody from the base is at the bars every night! The military treats us like kids man. they let everybody go get stupid drunk but won't let anyone under an e-6 drive cars, trucks, dirbikes, atv, ski's... the list goes on and on. I can't wait to get out of this hell they call yuma az.

yup well i talked to gunny and might of made progress on cpl course so hopefully i will stay and atleast you know yours dogs are being takin care of. I am ready to get back on the water though and its cooling off here already

SO Dude don’t have your ski with you???? THAT SUCKS because Yuma AZ, or rather the Colorado River from the Imperial Dam North to Lake Martinez is the absolute BEST flat water riding you will find in the South –Western US!!!! It’s like California/Arizona’s version of the Florida everglades (I’ve never ridden the everglades AND I’m sure Yuma doesn’t compare but it’s still super fun!) The whole area is full of these crazy back water trails lined with reeds off the main river channel. The trails range from as little as 3’ wide to 20’ wide and are made up of every thing from super tight curves to straight sections which open into little lakes and then go back into tight trails and it goes on for miles! You can race around and carve your brains out or just do free style all day!

There’s a pretty good chance I’m heading out there this weekend (Friday 26th & Saturday 27th) so if you DO have your ski PM me and we should go ride

I grew up in Yuma. It sucks. I hated it. We had a river house right at Fishers on Lake Martinez. Its just desert and river. My family left because once all the kids started have $$$,$$$ setups and drinking on the sand bars, we threw in the towel. Way too crazy, I have witnessed 3 deaths, and hundreds of accidents out there. I hate it.

Get a dirtbike with paddle wheels and go ride in Glamis California in the Sand Dunes. Cool as hell.

i don't have my ski here and we work 12 on 12 off i don't have time to do anything. although i bought a bmx bike and went to the skate park. they have an empty pool there it was fun.

Yup...Yuma kicks arse. Lake Martinez, Senetor wash, the river, Glamis, Ocotillo, Mexico, Casino's. It just sucks for you becuase you are property of the man right now. That and its the hottest pisshole in the world right now.

By the way, thanks for serving. The tank museum and the helicopters on the poles are pretty cool right there.

we went to parker last weekend, froze my feet, and we bolted out of there lol


it's not that bad here
we moved from long island and are bageless here, as well as pizzaless too
but man... housing prices are awesome here
