they have an integrated pulley which increases your leverage, that allows you to put more pull force onto the trim ring for the same amount of grip pull.
The Thrust uses a fixed pulley, which halves the force required.
I can't pull the Thrust EZ Pull under throttle, either. You HAVE to be off-throttle.
On the plus side, I figured out I can flip off boat wakes just fine without trim. A couple of weeks ago I was going for a flip and had throttled up before pulling the trim, so I went for it without. Worked fine!
I'm jealous too whenever I see it sitting in the garage. Then I remember it's mine!
I love that thing.
I feel the same way, but I must be a really crappy rider because mine wont flip! I sure as heck try and Ive seen others flip mine. maybe mine hates me~!

I have been thinking about it...Dasa!!! But I think a different cyl will help. According to Fred its just not the right one for me. I think some ported cases and cyl would help. Or live a little and just get the thrust setup....hmmmm.
Just glued the flat washer on top of the nozzle... we shall see how long it lasts. It stops the nozzle at the correct spot.
Jetmaniac 710 setup, b-pipe, skat mag 144 setback with 13/18 impeller.im getting 7/8 rotation now on about 1/3 of my roll attempts, although some go straight up and not out. With backies I am not throwing my head back enough. Im a Backsplatter. Once I get my rolls down I am going to try and develop a reasonable form.
I don't think that is possible on flatwater with that setup. V-wake for sure. Then again Lucas might be able to do it...hahaha.
Lucas said he nosed them in with that setup like yours.
I can see it happening with a short pole and lots of technique
