Hey Stan...all I can say is your glad I didn't catch u riding down at gbeach the other day I hear the waves were too hollow for u and u kept falling haha. I also heard the spectators though it was pretty cool too. The one guy said if he had a gun he would have liked to put a bullet in u guys. Way to portray a positive image for the sport. Congrats u are mildly good at the gayest sport around.

i know how i rode, i saw the pics and video and it was a great session. someone actually said he wanted to shoot us?
i find it strange you side with the murderer. but im sure you had a good laugh, talking about something that you used to be so heavily involved in. just fitting in with whatever crowd you put yourself around so you can be better than everyone.

seriously, we are like 15 years behind the learning curve...


the other x sports have been pushing their sports hard for a long... long time.... it takes years to develop a sport and be able to bring it to the public in a fashionable manner... Look at all the sports that have been dropped

Maybe, just maybe, the people who run the X Games are constantly on the lookout for new sports to attract viewers to increase their advertising revenue. Maybe these people have heard of the internet. Maybe they even know how to use Google and in that case it wouldn't be too hard to stumble across jet skiing as a candidate sport. Maybe they find threads like this, and realize that this is a sport full of small minded whiners so intent on infighting that they can't see the bigger picture.

Maybe they ignore jet skiing because of threads just like this one.

You go wilkers. very positive great rider.. I believe people like you & mark g., is who people like me will look up too. new riders that are extremely talented, that will push and surpass riders like me, taylor, ross, pierre, etc.

well the track guys make fun of the trailriders..the desert guys make fun of the track guys the two stroke guys make fun of the four stroke guys and the fmx guys make fun of eachother...so yea kinda

Not what I'm asking: we have our individual subcultures, but does anyone on an MX forum go to the extent that you do to trash the sport in general? My guess would be not. My guess is that MX riders each do their own thing, but universally think that the sport is cool and that, by extension, so are they. Much like this website would be without your bizarre rantings.

Not trying to pick a fight, but I do find it odd that anyone would expend so much energy telling people how stupid their sport is. don't you have anything else to do?

Just keep pushing the limits of freestyle jet skiing! You guys on the west and beyond with those waves are killin it. Plenty of people enjoy to watch it's just going to take time for the xgames and really it doesn't matter in the end what anyone else thinks if you love the ride imo

I am just not sure what you think people on a jet ski forum are going to accomplish. I have a full time job, a family, lots of to do and more people on "my" water than I care for already. Why would I get involved in starting a movement to further some talented skiers careers and get more people wasting time at "my" ramps and chucking trash on "my" beach? I don't have the time or the need for it. I think I am probably pretty typical of the people here.... so, not trying to be negative, but that's why you're not going to get anything moving here unless you start moving it yourself, if it means that much to you.

This community has done some pretty cool things and raised a lot of money for some good people and I am totally behind that. Xgames exposure isn't even a blip on my radar.

I was thinking the same thing when I started this thread. Its a catch 22, in the short time I have been on this site I have had tons of emails and messages from guys that do not know me from a hole in the wall offering help and services.

If we attracted more ppl it might have the same effect as a small town does when it turns to a city. But at the sae time, we would start to see more progression in tricks, surf and flatwater. I think you would see more manufacturing of aftermarket arts, things we have yet to think of.

Think of a few years back in fmx when the backflip was unfathomable. The first flip was done in competetion, then if you were not doing flips you were not competing. In a few short years they have taken to new levels, superman backflips, kordova backflips and all the other crazy a$$ superflips they are performing, you are even starting to see frontflips. What is that going to progress into.

I used to see the odd stand up on lakes in northern ontario. Then I checked them out online and blew my mind. ANYONE i talk to has no idea of what these things are capable of. And as for the rider skill. I have seen pics of some of the members riding here. People progress every ride. So everyone is only getting better.
