Thanks so much, Even though in the waves we have been doing these tricks in surfstance for years, the flatwater surfstance barrel was tough getting down(feet ALWAYS came out), The flatwater backie felt natural in surfstance, I'm trying all kinds of variations of flatwater tricks in the surf stance. I was hoping to make it to Nashville, but I could not get everything together(business, non-breaking-equipement(ha ha) etc.) I have always enjoyed and done better in wave comps, but like alot of peeps I did start out doing flatwater. I am not using any strap or wedge for my front foot, it opens the door for other one footed tricks.

Its a 2 year old 1000cc X-metal motor in a 3 year old X-metal hand-me-down carbon hull. It doesn't have all of latest X-metal secrets but on a day when the waves are flat(many days like that over here on the gulf side) it can be pretty impressive, sometimes in surfstance it will make it around with no trim.

Anyone have any video of anyone else doing flat-water surfstance tricks? The front suicide sub in surfstance is harsh on the body, I'll try to capture that on vid this weekend.

Havell Lucas is learning those flatwater surfstance flips. Last time he was over riding Pat's new ski I heard he was doing surfstance nosestabs into a surfstance BF. Not surf if he's got any video of it.

It looks great, way to go
