Absolutely not my friend! I haven't been riding long either, in fact I just bought my very first ski last summer. It was an X2, and I've owned a couple since then. I've gone balls out as fast, and much as possible since! I really love seeing someone like yourself dive into the sport. Thats what it needs! If I only had your fabrication experience! Hopefully some day I will. Until then, I'll remain a broke, hard working dude who's trying to juggle bills, job, wedding, and my extreme addiction of getting upside down on my ski. :beerchug:
Seriously though, your work is impressive! I love the parts you've made for yourself. That being said, I can only imagine what you WILL make in the years to come.
I wish money weren't an object. I have so many ideas in my head it's crazy. I just can't put any of them to use. Hell I can't even buy the basic stuff almost every free rider has on there ski at this point. I went ape sh it last year building that Kaw, and hopefully I'll be able to do the same this year and end up with a ski to be envious over. This thing I trashed this year was nothing more than a learning experience for me, as it was the first ski I can really say a BUILT. Learned a lot, and the next will be insane!
Also, same here with the expressing via typing. Sometimes the beer gets the best of me, and it's already hard to tell when someone is BS'ing, or seriously being an ass without seeing their face. I'm always bs'ing! I really do love most of the guys in these forums. We're all here for the same reason. To improve our selves, via the advice of others. And to show off here and there..:439:
