I use silicone on the ride plate, intake grate, and pump bolts... locks them in there and prevents water seepage into that water loving foam.

On this one, it was a throttle plate screw. on the other, I have no idea. It runs. That's all I care about.
Anyhow, I got the pump reinstalled (found some spare bolts) and went down to the river to run it for a bit.
Ran great.
I did find, however, that the son of a bitch is waterlogged. Again. :bsflag:

I was suspecting as much, but it's confirmed now. Water coming out the inserts for the pump.
Damn damn damn. I think I figured out a good way to keep it sealed fairly well on my Square.
Time to do it on the roundnose this winter I suppose.

Sorry, I don't have enough 1/4 in extensions to comfortably assemble that pump.
So, pump assembly always happens with 1/2 inch drive.
