I stayed at the Hampton Inn last year. I think it was $125 a nite. Decent pool & walking distance too kokomos.
There's plenty of free monster.

great place to stay. you can even see the races from your room window

If its true that Maseo Fujisawa(Fuji) is coming back, he is the only Japanese rider that I have seen that is close to being on the same par as Eric Malone. In fact he beat Malone and Lenzi at the 03' World Finals and he hasn't shown his face at the WF's since.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but with the current format and judging for freestyle (only recognized maneuvers-BF, BR and Flare), until someone does it, Malone is the one to beat.

I've just noticed a couple of nights this week that Japs are invading Body beach right at dusk. I have been leaving and they are coming in with a big full sized white van. They always rent big vans when they come here. Its been 2 nights in a row now...

They are trying to be very sneaky about showing off their "big powah".
Its time to go into spy mode and see what they're up to.... :sneaky:

Last year the Japanese (Wantanabe I think) had lots of power and perfect execution but were kinda lacking in style IMO.. I like guys like Kazer, Lenzi, Ratti and Stoyer.. They really look like like there really flying around on the ski and and whippin it.. Ant in Amature FS was rippin on that EME and looked awesome.. Cant wait to see if Malone is there this year

actually ant was in pro on eme . eme himself is the one to watch .
japs dont really have more technology then us the y just have more riders in freestyle then we do so they have more reasson to develope the parts .

Don't forget the "Savage" and "Kaiserkid" on the REV 1200 ski's. The are not on a level to win but will be very entertaining to watch. They both are going huge and have a great chance to knock off quite a few of the oversea's riders. They will represent the USA contingency very well. Those that were at nationals got a peek of Kaiser practicing on a ski that was at about 60%. I am still feeling bad for him. He is super pumped for Finals. I personally think that some serious riding is going to go down this year and I will be watching and enjoying with the rest. Good luck to all of the riders.

I'm pumped to see the Rickter hull, I've heard lots of good things about it. From what I have heard, it works very well in the surf also (which is where you are supposed to ride these things anyway .

Also excited to see what Lustic will have this year! He's got the motivation and equipment.

Ratti will be my Dark Horse pick cause well I just like him a whole heck of a lot.

At any rate with all the riders and new equipment on the way, it seems that the sport is in a really health place and that is what I am the most stoked about!
