its 'unmanned', don't see why they would need to. The state park is close enough too but I guess that would be hit as well.

I am glad you all convinced me to go get my ski registered. The sec. of state was open a whole hour before normal on friday. THey said they didn't know if they would have jobs come monday so they are trying to get overtime. THey wanted to hassle me because i put $1.00 as the sale price on the title. SHe said...you can't do that you have to pay the fair market value!!! I got into it with her and said that i have cut up hulls with a chainsaw before just to throw them away cuz no one will take it. I told her that i didn't want to put zero down, but told her i wasn't paying taxes on any fair market value of a 17 year old jet ski. Probably just because of teh whole government shut down i only had to pay $22 to registar my ski till 2010!!! She gave in. And i have the title in my name now. Sweet. Not paying the 6% on my $1400 is not why this state is in crisis so don't even go there.

Due to the partial government shutdown, several services of the Department of Natural Resources will be affected. Here is a partial list:
State parks, state forest campgrounds, state recreation areas and state-owned marinas are closed. Full refunds will be issued to campers who have reservations for days the parks, recreation areas or marinas are closed due to the partial state government shutdown.
Archery deer season will open on Oct. 1.
DNR-operated deer and bear check stations will not be open.
Hunting and fishing license sales online and at retailers will function as long as the state's computer servers remain functional.
DNR field offices, Operations Service Centers and visitor centers are closed.
Waterfowl hunting season will open Oct. 6. However, if the partial shutdown is still in effect, there will be no staff available to run the draws at managed waterfowl hunts.

Most of the time we start riding around 11am, but it depends on the weather which looks awesome right now. 78F and partly sunny.

We may even have a little bit of wave action, not a lot, but some.
