looks good nice price, also does pole use stock pole bushings, does it come with a chin pad,did you use pole spring , thanks for posting pictures

Bushings: I had the holes drilled out to whatever the AC used, and ordered new ones for like 20 bucks from AC.

Chin pad: none provided, you have to get creative. Guys are doing different things. I think mine worked out well and looks clean.

Spring: none provided and the stock one doesn't work. The pole is light enough to where having no spring may be fine. We'll see, since I installed it this winter.

I finally got to ride my SXR with the Xmetal Adjustable pole, XMetal adjustable turnplate/bars this weekend for the first time. I absolutely love this setup. The adjustability from the pole to the turn plate made setting up the steering so simple. I give this setup a A++++++. It is also the best looking pole IMHO.

I like my XMetal too.

My ATP pole installed. Nice product, can't wait for my first ride. Steve is a good guy to deal with. Too bad you can't see the green chin pad better. If I ordered one again, I would turf the chin pad myself so I can leave a little of it showing. Installation was pretty easy, but I don't have any way to hold the pole up when accessing the engine at the moment. The OEM pole holder gets in the way.

Edit: I modified the OEM spring and put it on. Now the pole stays vertical all by itself when I need to take the hood off.

My home away from home.
Not sure on weight, but the xmetal pole is nice and clean like a stock pole. Smooth lines and looks like it just works. For me, I'd like to see some pics of an xmetal set up with their short plate installed and the pole adjusted at its shortest. Interested to see if it does the pole line higher than the hood line trick, when the pole is on the hood.

I hate the boxy look of my umi pole, but now that it's straightened out I think it will work and feel good for flatwater. But it's still fugly lol! Chin pad isn't done and this is kind of a mock up. I think at some point in time someone needs to design a short adjustable pole that matches the hood lines for flatwater guys -4 to -8 maybe. Can't stand it when the pole line is above the hood line and the angles are funky. Plus it's hard on your junk when doing hood tricks.

thanks man

you can actually have the chin pad un-turfed too so its just completely whatever composite colour you pick... lime green in your case
