Surfriding Where should I mount my Cold Fusion GoPro mount?

I'm thinking on the front left bond rail. A little past the gas cap. I have the xmetal setup so no where to mount it like there is on the RRP setup. This thing is awesome how many position you can put it in. Can't wait to play around with it in the surf! Any ideas will be welcome. I want to get it on before tomorrow...hurricane is coming!

Stanton had a good idea about taking a piece of metal with a 90 degree bend coming off the handle pole bolt. Might try that one as well.

That was mike. He had it actually attatched to the hood.

The piece I used actually came off of a rn sj. It's the oem hood hook base from the hull side. But any 1/8 ss plate will work. Just cut to fit.

This is what the original place i mounted it looked like. Luckily i didn't put it on the front because broke the nose off the ski that day...hahaha.

This is the newest location. The old angle was too low. I don't know what this piece came from but found it in my tool box...works perfect! The two bolts even fit perfect and it was already threaded. I did have to drill out the hole to fit the pole bolt. But other than that works perfect!

love it when that happens, until you remember what that very important part was for, make sure you put some lock tight on the mounting screws

Exactly, but it has been in there for years so doubt its inportant. Red locktight all the way on that guy. I got some footage saturday but my pc was too slow to edit...hahaha. Have ram on order.
