Other what kind of 2 stroke oil do you use?

castor 927 is the best I've come across. wear is almost eliminated ....lol. however it plays real problems on gas power valves. i personally run Pennzoil premium plus and a bunch of billet motors in our crew are running wfo on it. not saying it's the best but it works.

x2 on this...

use this on my dirtbikes after switching from amsoil....it does gum up powervalves but I like the protection so that's what I will be running.

maxima is good stuff too...

927 is my fav though...very little wear when you do a rebuild...just keep on top of the pv's I say

ok so what about if im running it in a newer stock superjet and dont want to deal with gummed up powervalves? does running a more premium oil designed for race purposes adversely affect an engine that isn super modded?

You don't have power valves on a stock motor. That is just them fancy expensive motors that have those power valves.

Unless you're running a tweaked out high HP motor then running expensive synthetics are a waste of money. Unlike a 4 stroke where time and heat breaks down the oil, a two stroke burns up the oil along side the gas consumed so the oil lubricating your engine is always brand new. I run a limited engine setup and my last 2 motors easily have 500+ hrs before rebuilds, and that was using a 40:1 mix of TCW3 Walmart oil.

Maxima K2 for my SS900 PV engine, cause that's what Xscream told me to use.

Same here! Although used the Wally World oil in my my ss735,chuck said to start using the K2.Never had any build up with the previous oil,but no sense in screwing up a good engine.

Deftons, you have an awesome engine! They run so well! Took me forever to dial mine in (48 novi's instead of 46 mikuni's) but she is crisp!
