If you can, try a different coil. Or, cut back the wires a little.
Sounds like the coil isn't strong enough to support both plugs.

Well, it worked like that on the front, then we did the back and it didn't run. Then I switched the plugs and it ran. I am thinking it's the coil. I just don't see why it would just go bad. Maybe corosion

but if the plug would fire one cylinder and not the other, could it be something with that cylinder???


but cut back the plug wires first. that is probably it.
