Other WDK pole/bracket with spring??

Location

Has any done it and can you post pics? I run mine tight but it doesn't stay tight forever and I'm sick of holding it up when it gets a little loose.... I figure a spring AND tight will be nice.

I think I am going to a stock finger throttle too.

I had to cut it and bend it. Ill post a pic tomorrow.
Any luck on the pics? I'm in the same boat.

Have a ROK with a billet RRP pole, bolt and a pole spacer, cant get it to cinch down enough to be tight (I think im at the end of the threads on the bolt).

Also did anyone else have to shave down their bushings to get them to fit the WDK bracket? I had to take about 1mm off both sides. Kind of strange since I thought the bracket was designed for this pole.

Yes I got a spring on there and it didn't do poop! I left it on but I tightened the hell out of everything again and I love it again. I never had to trim bushings at all......I use OEM bolt with 2 OE nuts and it stays tight for long enough...almost a season...then I just disassemble reassemble and tighten again and it is tight as hell again for another 1/2 season and then new bushings....

Even when it is tight as hell it moves when you want it to... and instantly.....but it stays put when you let go...its great!

I'll post a pic tonight...it was easy...map gas a vice and pliers.....heat and bend.....

I completely forgot to take a photo. Not the boat torn down.
I just bent the top and bottom ends of the spring then had to cut about an inch off the lower end of the springs "tail" so it fit onto the bracket.
