HA I've ridden the Wave house a couple of times on both the small wave and Brutimus Maximus. Got my a$$ handed to me both times and I've been surfing over 20+yrs. It looks like surfing but it's more like snow boarding than surfing- catch an edge and your goin down. I actually thought Brutus maximus was easier because of the steepness its easier to hold an edge. The small one was just back flop after back flop. I needed traction and a good Chiropractor when I was done!

i was in san diego last weekend also and watch people ride the wavehouse deal, looked awesome. I didnt see you though DJ woulda been cool to hang out! Later

Just got back from my cruise.. they had a flowrider and it was pretty much the same thing (as the small one). My first few rides were like DJ's, 3-5 seconds and a wipeout. After a while I got good enough to "ride" for a minute or so. I feel I needed one more session to get decent at it.

I heard they are about $1 million to build.
