does the fuel slusshing around in a fiberglass gas tank loosen up any of materials (fiberglass, resin)? This could create some cloggling issues in the carbs perhaps.
Any feeback from people already using these fiberglass gas tanks?

i never had any problem with the resin but the silicone I used around the filler ended up in the filters, be very care what sealent you use for the filler cap. I sure wish you guys would post some pics of your builds.

I have one of his gas tanks I would sell it, if you want it. Make me an offer. I found it real hard to get a good seal on the gas cap. The slealent ended up in my filters.

I forgot!
what sealant have you used? i bought stuff call sealall and the local autostore and it is fuel resistant. my honda minitrail has a metal tank that was thin and rusted, i poured that stuff in it and aslong as you let is setup all the way before it sees fuel its good, it has lasted about 6-7 years now.

Yamabond, Hondabond and other similar products will work, but, Sealall is the best. Here is a link to the info http://www.eclecticproducts.com/sealall.htm You will have no problems if you use this to seal the filler cap. Also, the gas sloshing around will not cause any problems. I have used Vp MS109 and the major volatile Ultimate 2 with no problems. It took me two years to find this resin, and it works!!

They have been making fiberglass fuel tanks for decades! They usually just paint on an extra coat of resin to help with corrosion. Supposedly, composite fuel tanks are the best to have even out of metal or plastics because of them constantly being submerged land lacking oxygen....but thats just what I've heard.
