i never had any problem with the resin but the silicone I used around the filler ended up in the filters, be very care what sealent you use for the filler cap. I sure wish you guys would post some pics of your builds.

:slap:No parts showed up at my door....and the guys that ordered the parts didn't start the thread. I was just :poke: at Toby and Brian because I know they had been looking forward to getting the tanks and rideplates for awhile now.
They both seem happy with the tanks and say they fit like a glove.

what sealant have you used? i bought stuff call sealall and the local autostore and it is fuel resistant. my honda minitrail has a metal tank that was thin and rusted, i poured that stuff in it and aslong as you let is setup all the way before it sees fuel its good, it has lasted about 6-7 years now.

May be I will just have to try it again with the Sealall. I like the tank but hated the problems of the selant filling up my filters. I hope it works. Jeff, you could have saved me some trouble if you would have told me about this stuff. Better late than never.
