DO NOT LET SWOOPERJET EVEN LOOK AT YOUR SKI!!!! something will break.

we need a mandatory screen name change from swooperjet to dr. destructo.

he cracked his ski and hood so his was out of commision. we took my sn and the blaster to the lake. i screwed up and let him ride my sn and he broke three motor mounts, so far. i have a chunk missing from one of the fins in my pump. not sure about the drive shaft, mid shaft, or couplers yet. have to pull the motor to see what other damage has been done.

you have been warned!!!!!!

pics to come

Thanks for not mentioning last ride.:pancake:
Hey...you knew the dangers going in. DOH!!!! But you know....it could have just been a manufactures defect!:woot:

Yeah, I'm on a pretty good run this year in regards to tearing skis up. I usually won't ride anyone elses because of that fact. See what benefit you get for being my friend.:eek:uttahere:

Good thing for spare parts, huh?

broken motor mounts = lack of maintance on owners part!!! its not his fault !!! lol seams to be the way i lent my b2 to one of the guys i ride with (his blaster was in my shop apart due to a paint job) blew to motor in my b2. my b2 is the rental ski has tons of hours on it never misses a beat. 1 ride for him and pow!!! lol

how do you figure it is lack of maintenance. it was from pancaking a barrel roll. the mounts are 16 years old. not lack of maintenance, just old motor mounts. besides he breaks every thing. two weekends before i let him ride it and he broke my nose peice and my limiter rope bracket on the dash. he is just as i stated above, dr. destructo.

it would seem as though you're not a very aggressive rider that's used to replacing parts on a regular basis, due to this type of riding. you got "swooped" on...lol

just exactly what part of "he cracked his ski and hood so his was out of commission." was not a warning to you to begin with?...LOL

he is my best friend. i didn't think he would break it this last monday because he did not take his helmet, no wind, and no big boats. i ride agressive enough, i land upside down quite a bit. i think it was just his bad luck that the mounts broke on him and not me. now time for some kenny keepers.

yeah, but i don't land upside down all the time. just most of the time. however, just thinking back. i might have done some damage when i did my 180 flat spin. was done on accident, but swooperjet said it looked cool.

Moondance

Just plain me....
haha.... ya'll are in good company. However, I am disappointed that ya'll only broke 3 mounts. I mean come on, you let a girl beat you on that? lol

Hopefully my little box of goodies should be here tomorrow. Not sure I'll be back on the water before next weekend, but I will at least have a hella strong hull after Mick is done with it.:arms:

Not so quick Moonie. I might of got'em all. Haven't checked it out really yet. That was just the initial peek on the boat ramp. We'll see the extent of the damage when he pulls his exhaust chamber. But as of now....I bow down to the greatness called Moondance!!:notworthy:LOL!!

OK so tell us great one, how do you do maintance on a motor mount other than actually removing it to inspect it and putting it in a device to try and stretch it to see if its worthy?
Oh wait did he forget to defuse them once and a while?
