Hi all!! I'm new to this forum but have enjoyed reading a lot of the posts here and had to dive in with some questions.

A couple of questions to the pro's or manufactures here:

Who makes the best complete full custom freestyle superjet ready to go?
My budget is around $25,000 maximum and want the best flatwater / surf ski I can find to do it all, but am looking for dependability, strength, lightness, and monster power (not a stocker).
Also, Is the Wamilton platinum ski really worth $18,000.00 with no major engine mods? Can it go the distance. Who makes a better ski?

Any help would GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks for the help!!! Those motors do look sick I'll call them tomorrow, and post results of the conversation.

Do you guys think the XMetal handlepole is better than the Rick Roy, or is it apples and oranges? It seems a lot of riders have chosen the RR over others..

I'd talk to Thrust Innovations, X-metal/Team Scream, Blowsion, Wamiltons and compare packages.

I don't think there is much to a handlepole except.

1. Strength
2. Looks
3. Weight

Both have strength and look good....but I believe the XMetal is significantly lighter.

Trinity Composites Hull with Team Scream Power

Thanks!!

But doesn't Trinity just make Kawi style hulls? Correct me if I'm wrong but most of the top freestyle pros ride a SJ style hull?

So far, the best people I have talked to have been X Metal, big props to Radney over there!! I'm going to test ride my arse off at the finals, and figure this out..

bobby is coming out with some yami hulls... Josh Lustic is on an SXR style hull and seems to be doing pretty well with it

I have team scream power. I can't say enough good things about their service!! Great guys!
I have only ridden a few aftermarket hulls so I don't consider myself worthy to express an opinion.

Depending on what you want, narrow your search based on what each builders strengths are.

If you want a true flat water boat. Dont call Blowsion, they are freeride/surf specialist. If you do want flat water, then I would lean towards X-Scream, Thrust or Wamiltons.

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
If I was going to get a ski built with that kind of budget it would be from xscream or xft.

Or you can just buy a nice superjet hull... reinforce it... (or find a lighter aftermarket hull on here in the classified ads... ) put an xscream 828 in it (awesome power)... with all the best parts you would be at about $15000 or so....plus or minus a grand or 2.... that would give you an awesome reliable ski and it would give you $10,000 to travel around to freerides and gas money for the ski for years.

Half the fun I had with my ski was building it... but I like that sort of thing. Have fun!

Thanks everyone for the input!!

What about the X Metal carbon hull does it rank at the top of the best of the best freestyle hulls list? Whats so much better about Trinity? Materials or skill in manufacturing perhaps? I don't plan on competing btw just want to build the raddest ski possible.

It sounds like surf and freestyle skis are two different animals, which I understand, but I would like to build something that works well on both apps.

That 967 & 1000 scream motors are beasts, but its all about throttle control right.. Horsepower on water is always a good thing : )

Thanks BK,

Is it possible to build a boat that thrives in both elements?

as you said in past post flat water and surf boats are two seperate animals.
the x-scream 828 is plenty in a surf hull..still maybe too much .. the 967+ motors are for flat water it would just be too much in the surf :hitwithrock::hitwithrock:ski..:hitwithrock: you sounds as if you are going to havasu, you'll learn a lot there.. this new rrp hull is looking/ sounding good .. you'll see that ski out there too.. maybe i'll see you out there:drive:
