Slammin it down on the hood when I land...This is the 2nd break on this pole and the 3rd time I broke a UMI.

try putting you pole bumper further back so theres not as much leverage.
i dont think i slam mine very hard, idk i dont remember.

that was my temp. pad, my 2x thick 24mm turfed pad is in the same spot, but now i want it further back!

just make sure the pad is behind the welds or it will break every time...too bad you welded it previously because they would replace that and would have upgraded you to the pro pole which is much stronger..i broke my old style umi in the same place..

I have allready been updated to the "Pro Pole" after I broke my first one. I broke the Pro one twice now.

you have broken two pro poles??...you gotta be doing something wrong (no offense) taylor and jk were breaking the regular umis every couple months and neither one had broken a pro pole once they got them...like i said post a pic of your bumper placement

i see..so it broke in two seperate places?...how come you didnt get a replacement on the first break on the pro pole?..just didnt want to deal with it?

It cost me a lot less to have it welded and reinforced than to ship it. Plus, it was faster. I am sure he would have warranteed it, but I thought I would just have it made stronger.

There is NO WAY in hell I am paying $1000 for a pole and then have to buy an expensive bracket to make it work too. Nurse, that would do nothing to help your riding. You allready have an unbreakable ac.

I'd get a new hood and nosepiece first.
