I got the same second hand information on that Advent from someone that rides with us. Let me know how the Mitsu works out. Is that going in an X-2 or SXR?

1st hand experience here....and I can confirm that this is correct.

go the inferno if you can seal the elec box propally you will have no problems with salt water issues and the advantages of a couple of curves i am going to put one in my ski as soon as my cash flow builds up

They have sent basic details on curves, will post later.
Trying to get english manual as all in Japanese, or will try find someone to translate.It has an LED on it, need to know what for.
The epoxy is clear so you can see all the circuitry.
It is for my X-2, pity I hydrolocked the motor on Friday, snapped conrod,oh well have to put in a Madpower 940 engine:Banane09:

You don't need to. The directions are telling you to set the switch positions for switch 1 and switch 2 as indicated. The timing will be set at 1500 rpms and 5000 rpms as seen to the right of the switch position.

its the bit after that that will destroy your engine

If you want to go MSD, you should check out Jetski Solutions. John can make your MSD about as bulletproof as it can be. He Heatshrinks everything, rebuilds the pickups, and grounds everything the way it should be. I have his work in one of my skis and it is VERY trick.

If you ride in saltwater, here is how to make your MSD more user friendly. Get a tuperware container, install your MSD on the normal alluminum plate, and place inside the tuperware, then mount to the stock locations. Simply cut out some holes and run your wires and seal with silicone.

I know it sounds funny, but it works.
