Fuel lines look good, thats how my Jetmaniac motor is hooked up. I had a similar issue and it was my throttle cable that was not adjusted correctly after I replaced the finger throttle. Its most likely something dumb like that.

Was your throlle stuck open a little? I think its something small to. If I dont have time tonight to try it again, I'm going to take it to my local boat ramp and give it a try. That way if it does it again it will be in water on my trailor.

my throttle was not adjusted right, it was as if I was at 1/3 throttle and I had my finger no where near it, I was scared for a minute. I adjusted the cable at both ends so it had some more slack and it was fine, I dont know if that is whats going on in your case but just make sure there is a very small amount of slack in the throttle cable at idle. When you get this figured out you are going to love the power, my maniac/blue motor is good, looking into the big bore kit for next winter.

I was Thinking the same thing about the big bore motor. MIT be my next motot

while you are checking the throttle cable tension, make sure you also check it with the handlebars turned fully to one side and then the other. You may have it adjusted perfectly with the bars centered, but might find that pinning the bars to the side pulls the butterflies open...

that drove my friend nuts...he almost gave up for the day wondering why his ski was idling so high. :)

TBM flywheel first for me, then big bore after this year. I just switched to an Epic And converted to a Mag pump for this year. combined with the 70+ p0unds I am shaving from my hull, and 2o and counting pounds that I personally lost this fall. my power to weight ratio might be all I can handle at first.

That sounds like a good plan. I mit get a epic this summer. Is a mag pump a huge different?

I was wondering about that. Being that I have a 9/15 hooker would I have to get another prop for the mag? Man y'all got my wheels soinning. Just when I think I'm done.lol

Sell the hooker and get a one made for the mag, thats what Jetmaniac told me to do. Chris has a good deal on them right now, get them before the price goes up! I dont know about you but I was spinning the crap out of my 9/15 and had to step up to the 10/16.

Ok guys I need your help again. So today I went to my local boat launch to see if my ski would run . I cranked and cranked and could not get it started. I checked the plugs and Im getting a good spark. So now what?? Don't know what to Check now,

If you are getting good spark, you aren't getting gas. You may want to check the pulse fitting line and make sure you have no air leaks. I had that happen once also. You can see if you can fire it on starting fluid, but there is no lubricant in that so very briefly just to get the fuel pump primed.

Nah.....length isn't a worry.
Pour a little bit of premix down the carb throats to make sure it starts that way. If it does, you got fuel delivery issues.
If it doesn't, then something else is going on.

I wouldnt have them longer than you need. It may take a while if there is nothing but air in the lines to get it to go. Either way you should be able to get it started using the primer, it just won't stay running if you aren't getting gas throughout the main lines

Man I prime the crap out of it and still nothing. I may pour a little in the head to see if that will fire her up
