I am at it again. I sold 90% of my Jetski stuff this fall, paid off some debt but i want to have my own ski again. I took a friends ski to Daytona and lost the hood :sadface: I decided to redo the old sn hull behind the shop bc well frankly it was all i had left. I am a novice and this is the first time i have cut a tray apart. Not too good with epoxy either, let's see what i can create here. Anyone with a motor setup, pump or any free ski parts let me KNOW!

Day 1 -Defoam



So i have a plan, not really sure what it is yet...but i have a plan. Someone did a really wierd job of reinforcing this ski. WAYYYY too much and too much epoxy if it is even that. It is a gray substance that reminds me if 3200 fast cure. Chop mat throughout. It must come out! If you look close you can see the reinforcing is peeling away from the metton sides. Someone please tell me what the hell he used for epoxy?!?!?!

nah. didn't like the one i rode. I want a front foothold into the engine bay, WIDE tray and i will make my own footholds. I really like x2addicts ski, tray, and engine setup. He was nice enough to let me ride the shi.t out of it in daytona when i lost the hood off the ski i was riding.

One more day of sanding, grinding and prepping. Already made an order to US-Composites. Going to chop 2inches off the back too, like in Darin's build.

Cut that tray and pull out all that green stuff in there, that shait weighs a ton.
