That sounds like a very very reasonable price for that SXR hood, considering the very positive reviews that have been posted.

Looking forward to SJ stuff.

Innovation and competition is a good thing.

I cant get enough Trinty stuff for my ride. Hood, ride plate, nose piece.. all i need to add to the list is that hull.. but then i'd need a sweet power plant..

is that weight on the hull with all the attachments or just materials?

Ship it to me and I'll bring it to Freestylefest in Michigan. That's closer, right?

That hood is a thing of beauty. Best hood I have ever seen for ANY SKI. Beautiful, strong and light as a feather. Instantly took over 20 pounds off of my ski. (rode like a whole different ski)

I assume the 75# hull is the HIGHER cost hull? What would the $7500.00 hull weigh? Just curious? You figure $1000 for a hood and Min. $7500.00 for the hull and you are looking at $8500.00, does this hull also require the nose piece that the OEM Kawis have or is it included in the hood price like an SJ set up?

Last but not least; I am glad to see the inovation and addition in options for aftermarket composite parts and am really looking forward to some SJ creations by Trinity.

How many lbs is a stock srx hull?

Superramjet wrote this.... the bottom oem sxr piece is over 70lbs bare!

How i see it. There is more area/material involved with the upper hull..... ID say a complete OEM hull would have to weigh in around 150lbs.

Trinity Lower weighs in at 24lbs.

Trinity Upper weighs 32lbs.

After bulkhead, motormounts, pluming ext. you get your 75lbs...... your litterally cutting the weight in half, and the finished product will take much more abuse then a OEM.:brap: A true 75lb surfboat!

After some quick math, Bobby and I figure a complete boat with the Kaw 800 powerplant, and OEM pump, Lighter Waterbox, cart tank, small battery ext.... your looking at about 230lbs dry.... B-pipe, Billet flywheel, bigbore, porting, and a Trim system, and I bet you would have a very reliable, flatwater Backflip boat. Just my opinion.

mouth watering...

I would love to, but....

Drive: 5,392 km – about 2 days 4 hours
http://maps.google.ca/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl&q=

would be a week of straight driving one way for me, right across the continent lol. Anyone know of any other tricks, or maybe a canadian distributor?

It gets expensive with b.c. taxes, border duty, etc...

There should be no duty since it is made in the USA but you will have to pay your normal BC taxes and you may get hit with a brokerage fee when your item crosses the border. Don't ship into Canada with UPS they seem to have the highest brokerage fees.

Option #2 would be to have the hood shipped to a location in Blaine, WA and then go pick it up. I've been using the UPS store in Michigan for years to recieve parts etc that I buy in the USA.

Oh ya and that drive from BC to FL is really long. I once drove from Vancouver to Miami.

the bare sxr hull i cut up was nearly 150lbs.

Hull looks nice, would love to see more pics and hear how it performs.

I am almost positive the boat will be at the WF's.... Im sure Bobby will allow you a test ride Tom.... The complete boat will also be for sale there as well.... not sure how exactly it will be outfitted yet. :fingersx:

Trying to answer what I can.... Bobby is still without a computer land line where he lives.
