My tray/footholds: Basically a set of wamiltons holds with the front extended to make the tray about 1" wider (each side). Right side usually touches the exhaust tube. I have the mold for these.

Lol!!!!! My friggin footholds are 8" too far forward and waterlogged foam on top of a cracked hull. I just want to see different trays!

Shorten that pole a little and your holds will be better for you. I like Kscarb's widened tray. I think 227 has a pretty sweet one too if memory is correct.

RRP has the best holds. talk about locked in!

I haven't tried RRPs, but XFTs also keep you super-locked in, are very comfortable and easy to pull out of. Howver, I'm not sure how much fun they'd be in the surf since they do put your feet way back in the tray.

I see that you have JetManiac's carabiners.
Are you using it as your Limiting rope as well?

Benny
Well, it IS my limiting rope. I made another tow rope which I keep around my waist (as per Chris's recommendations). Those carabiners are nice, very easy to operate.
