Good idea for those coming from far is an complete spare hub kit for the trailer in case a bearing decides to take a poop on you.
Yeah, GREAT idea.
About 16 years ago, I had a 24' tandem axle flatbed trailer with 6 stand ups on it heading to a race in Ohio. About 2am (about 10 hours into a 13 hour trip) one of the bearings let loose, I didn't see it or feel it, and it tore the spindle to shreds. Because of all the weight of the skis on the trailer, we couldn't just take the tire off and run without it, because it scrape the ground. On top of that, the heat practically welded the wheel on, and we fought like crazy to get it off. Lost probably a couple hours trying to fix that nightmare. What a mess.
So, if your trailer is marginal, bring bearings AND a spindle/hub.
(when you see my new trailer this weekend, you'll see I learned from that experience)

Next time use a tie down to hold the axle up, this will get you to a garage.

I've got another one to add to the list that I learned the hard way last year:
Battery cable connectors.
I have one break off right where the wire meets the connector, and since it was crushed to hold the wire in place, I couldn't get the old one out. And I had no spare.
Thus, my weekend ended at 3pm on Sunday I think.

As soon as I got home on Monday, I stopped at Boaters World and picked up two different size connectors (for some stupid price like $10). Now I've got spares for whichever ski I'm riding that day.

I hate learning the hard way...

That's what you get when you have a break that 2 world champs grew up surfing. But the only wave worth skiing there is monster hole and its sweet when its in the chest high+ range, and most surfers don't go out there (300yd+ paddle and lots of large marine life, hence the name.)

+1 sebby is the best and if u dont like monster hole then ride up the beach a little to spanish house
