The Waternut Stunt hull build

Well...that's where it will be soon enough. The hull is still being built. I managed to dig up enough money to buy one of the stunt hulls and I'm stoked about it! ...and a little broke obviously. Dan's been really cool about the whole thing so far and his response times have usually been within hours instead of days. Trying to sell all my 750 stuff to make up the difference.

Anyway, I ordered the ski in the black gelcoat and I can assure you I'll be taking lots of pictures when I get it and swapping all the parts from my SJ as soon as I can. I'll try to remember to weigh everything as well for reference. I'm guessing it'll be a very chilly first ride though. I'm just hoping I can get it built and ride it a couple times before Daytona.

yea i ordered one too, but haven't gotten it yet. should be here within the next couple weeks. he said hes waiting on the hood mold to get in. but im pumped for it. what motor are you putting in yours?

Same one that's in my SJ right now. It's a sport port 701 61x/61x with total loss and B pipe. Suprisingly, it pulls really hard so I'm curious what it'll be like on a hull that's 40-50lbs lighter.

Absolutely! You're so close, you should come down and ride more than once.

I emailed Dan the other day and he said he had to order the black gelcoat and will begin building my hull late this week. He hasn't mentioned anything about the hood but maybe that's the other reason. Would be cool if I got the new hood assuming it looks better.

I'll get pictures for everyone as soon as I get it... You can count on it!

Just emailed Dan and apparently I'll get the new hood plus the hull comes with it's own rideplate so I'm pumped about that. I think when I get word that the hull has been shipped, I'll pull my ski out of the water and have everything ripped out and ready to go.
