the results of not reinforcing

I don't have any pics but I can tell you that my 2001 superjet is cracking at the bond line and i've only been doing BR's for about 1.5 seasons and nose stabs for about 3 seasons. I need to pull it apart and get her reinforced before it gets worse.

On the other hand, I'm kinda hoping to smash her all to hell, then tell my wife I need to buy a nice new WCF hull

Even if you don't do the sides, for god's sake do all around the underside of the pole bracket area. That's where mine developed stress cracks from learning nosestabs.
You can still do that area & not mess up your new paint.

Plus the stress cracks are an awful eyesore. They are all over the place. You should really reinforce before you need to fix something in the middle of riding season. How much you build it up depends on your environment, style, and balls.

Not bad enough for the carnage section, but bad enough to shove my heart into my stomach one month after putting out big $$$ on a brand new ski.

You will break the crap out of that square nose hull if you don't reinforce the sides of that thing.

I don't have the pics anymore, but Mike Serlin put a 3 foot scupper in the side of my x-GF's 650 square.

seriously, you guys can drop the rivet deal. I did what steve said, who cares if they look crappy. they work. no wonder people stop visiting pwct and other sites.
