I must say that I do like the Reggae during the moring & mid-day.
Kinda kick-back beachy music. That stuffs cool.

I can take on the Music task next year if needed. I have a pretty sick mix that I use for the Rock n Ride. High energy punk, rock, rap, reggae, pop....kinda like a Tony Hawk Video Game, or one of my movies..... (and no "Nookie")

I update this mix and tweak it constantly...it should be long enough to go the entire weekend without repeating a song.

yaa was kind of weak but your really couldnt hear it way down at the other end of the beach....i did like the mc hammer song which i should have danced to ( i really wanted a free life jacket !!!)

I say that we have more speakers stationed along the beach so it can be heard no matter where you park.
With the amount of vehicles there it is difficult to hear announcements if you arent in the area where the speakers are aimed.

A Beach is a HARD place to set up sound.... It is just too HUGE and nothing around to hold the sound in...it just heads out to sea.

....maybe we need an official giant dry erase announcement board that can be updated with the newest info.
