I may put this back in. Where do you guys think I should tap for an extra 90 if I do? I want to quiet it down a little and get a little more back pressure. My ski actually hits harder with a plastic 650 box than it did with this.

Where should I get the water from? The head seems like it would be to much:dunno:

No Square..No Round..FX-1
MADMAT...I had to replace my stocker because of old age/leaking. The TDR was
cheap but LOUD. I ran a extra line to shoot straight out the exit. Also added a break-up pin to fan out the stream. Full line from the head. As allways...just another "experiment".
When crusing up on plane, it's quieter than stock...but I don't think it offers anything when you're wide open.

Thanks for the input guys. I hate to buy a factory one if I can just shut mine up and not really lose anything.

i run the power spray in mine with a 3/8 non restricted str8 into the box out let it saves my outlet hose from melting and shush it up a bit but now i think it sounds better than when i had her dry

i experimented with my TDR box and front exhaust only this weekend........

put a jetworks valve in just to try it out....VERY VERY loud........

took it out with full water going into the Bpipe stinger, not nearly as lous..but I could slightly feel the water building up in the waterbox..

the best Ive had it was with a 4.5mm cheap socket used as a water resrictor right at the bpipe stinger fitting.......

never have hooked up the actual powerspray funtion....

I have the power spray on mine, it shoots water in perpendicular to the outlet.

I have dual cooling from my pump, so from one main line half goes into my stinger and half goes overboard. The from my other main line, I have a restrictor in pisser side and so more than half of that main line goes into the powerspray. So overall I have more than 1 full line going into the waterbox.

I really can't tell that my waterbox "loads up with water". I've tried it every way, the only way it might have loaded up was when I had a restrictor in both pissers. Then it would hesitate sometimes, when nailing the throttle from low speeds, riding up a wave. I say might have because my jetting might have been off when I tried it that way.

Just ride
If you have daul cooling, just run your pisser that comes out of your exhaust into the waterbox which when thinking about it would defeat the purpose of a jetworks valve. But Since you said it's too loud, I'm assuming that you have front exhaust because I have a TDR box with rear exhaust and it's fine I love the way it sounds, you could just try putting a barb fitting in your front exhaust outlet on the inside and have your exhaust pisser dump right there. I know XL700's are like that and I'm assuming it's to muffle the sound output. Just a thought..
