Well.........my first time at Dunedin causeway ENDS with me blowing my Superjet motor..... :-(

My primer line came loose and caused a lean condition which messed up the rear piston and the crank....I think!


What price am I looking at to rebuild my crank and top-end?????

I have no problem pulling the motor out and taking it apart if that helps save me some $$$


What are names of all the local engine builders in the TAMPA / CLEARWATER AREA?????

The cylinder walls DO NOT have any deep scratches or gouges.....if that info helps

There is some play in the crank when I grab the drive-shaft and try and spin it!!

2 piston kits ~$220
wrist bearings ~$30
hone,, maybe a bore ~$30 hone ~$150bore

thats buying a new crank i believe not rebuilding yours,or you could just look for a good used cranke for 2 or 3 hundered.

Because,
once you've seen it once and decided that the items for sale are not what you want, junk or overpriced you don't need to see it again. No matter how many times you "bump" or "ttt" a turd, it's still a turd.

If your not afraid of work, get the cases split and just bring the top end and the crank and we can check thing out and we MUST find the reason WHY your engine did this before we can rebuild it.
