yeah, those are nice and easy to install.
The best bilge pump for the sxr is the Rulemate 750. It will sit right where your tool kit is...and bungee right down...then just run a hose and bilge fitting and your done. No switch needed and no glue...

Yup, your you have a waterline off. Put it back in the water and sit there with the hood off and watch. Dont put it in, go park truck, heck, leave it on the trailer, just back it down with the hood off and go back and look.
Have you ever had one of those moments where you realize that you should have listened and opened up your &ucking eyes?
Well, I dropped it back in and looked at the water line going from the engine bay aft on the right side where the the "waterline" was. It had slipped off. It was the one behind the battery.
I put the versiplug-r in and it works pretty good. Still a little water in the bay but, I guess nothing more than expected. I wil lbe putting in the bilge pump sooner than later.
LOL, yeah, We all have done that. It will get to a point when you actually know alot, how to rebuilt, tune, diagnose. You have several problems, blown motors, you figure them all out. Then one day, it starts acting up, you check jetting, fuel filters, plug wires, check compression. Put new plugs in, cut the plug wires back. Rebuilt the carbs. Replaced gaskets......... Then you look down and you were low on gas the whole time. LOL
Sometimes it is the most simple thing
Once again, use the 750 Rulemate bilge and bungee it down where your tool kit goes. 500's suck and they need a switch. 750 is wayyyy faster and turns on automatically. No switch needed so it is cheaper in the end, you also don't need a bracket.
,,,,,and yes, block off the stock siphon.
Leave the stock bilge in. They work OK. They only work will the ski is moving.
Where do you ride Scorn?
Wow, I guess I shouldnt feel so stupid. Haha........
Tell me this, can I rip that stupid bilge system under the drive shaft out when I put a real bilge in? It obviously works like.
Try sticking a garden hose im from the rear of the ski. take the hood off and see if and water is coming in. If so, the driveshaft seal is bad or the apoxy came of the hose that runs from front to back. I just had that happen to mine
He already found a loose waterline.
