New solenoid, new gasket and a freshly painted e-box.

From now on i will be doing a periodic opening of the e-box to prevent a suprise like that again. This time i will use grease instead of silicone and some dielectic grease around the battery and starter wires. There was nothing left, just white and green powder and gel. That salt water sure finds it's way into those Yamaha boxes. I guess i'm also riding alot more agressive too.

when I seal an ebox I usually put on some rubber gloves, take a big glob of vaseline/dielectrci and work it inito the seal real well on both sides...

ever since they have been dry!

I cruised down to Sebastion early this morning to beat the wind. Unfortunately it was already windy at 7:30am. I did one ride but there was not much in terms of waves and no other riders just lots and lots of fishermen and boats.
The biggest problem is there is no where to beach your ski except on the tide pool side right now. Here is a couple pictures looking East and West at the "old spot".
If anyone is going out tomorrow let me know as I'm wanting to get out. I don't really want to ride by myself out there like I did today.

That really sucks. They are gonna put that stupid rip rap rock all the way to the point. I wish I was able to ride but laying here in the hospital until at least Mon sucks worse. Felix said he was going to Seby in a post pretty early this morning i thought. No surf at all?

I wanted to switch to Nextel, but a bunch of people have been trying to talk me out of it. I just know alot of people who have it, and love it too.... and they offer a plan that would be perfect for me, and its only 49 a month or something... I pay 80 a month through cingular, without two way. :thumbsdown:

Remember seeing my leg when I blew outmy calf at OWC. Well I've been swelling and some discoloration for months. Last Sun I rode Daytona and while riding I had to keep getting off my ski to rest my leg. Mon I noticed my upper thigh was swollen and didn't think alot about it. Bottow line is it was getting worse as the week went on. On Thur I went to work and decided to go to the ER to get checked. Bottom line is, They found a huge vein blocked from my groin down to my knee (same leg). They admitted me and put me on absolute bed rest. The expected to pee and poo ithout leaving bed. Pee I handled, poo I told em I've been walking around with this and there is no way I'm gonna shiet in a bed pan. They understood and said that I should'nt get out of bet at all but they can't strap me down, nuff said! They told me that I was lucky that I came in as if the clot let loose I might not be around anymore. Now they have me on 2 dif blood thinners and I can't go anywhere until my blood is thin enough. They are telling me I've more then likely been running around with this since weeks after my calf injury. When I do et out of here I will be on this Coumadin (blood thinner) for at least 6 months and my drinking habits will need to change. I asked if my other habits :439: would need to change and was told no. Sucks that I had like 16 people at my house for turkey dinner and I was here. :sadwavey:

I've watched all of Ludo's video's on Fullgaz like 3times. Borred Shietless :frown:

On a lighter note, I'm in Celebration Hospital and this place is like the Ritz. High speed internet, 3 windows, my room is private and it's like 15" X 20" (not that I need any space laying in bed)

Hey Guys there is a beach spot that is Just West of the Tide pool.... I think you could even cart the ski's right down to the water there.... if not I would definetly ride the ski's over to the beach area after launching them into the tide pool.... I never noticed it before.

I have an extra Verizon and a few nextels somewhere. I would stay away from Nextel. I had Nextel for like 7 years and the service got much worse when they went with sprint. IMO I have been with Verizon for 2 years now and love the service but hate the price I pay. Then again if I get rid of the 2 teenage girls, it would ok.
