My sxr takes on a ton of water VERY QUICKLY if it rolls over upside down or even on its side. When its on its side I think the water is coming in from the hood area, when its upside down (only once) Im pretty sure it filled up through the RRP handle pole tubes. I need to figure out a way to limit how much water is entering the engine bay. The intake holes in the hood has the frogskins over them but Im not sure that they stop water flow if they are submerged? Also while just sitting in 12" of water on the side of the lake after 5 minutes there will be like over a gallon of water the electric bilge pump will pump out. This is a limited ski and has the magnum pump with the siphon tube still in use with the stock bilge system also. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, I can take pics of whatever you need to see.
