I'm kinda new to stand ups and threads, but I'm going to give this a try. This is a photo right after I got it last season and started riding. I am putting a bunch of new aftermarket parts into it and wanted to see if any one was interested in me posting picts. I am putting in my first foot wells this week and want to thank all of you for your past posts and indirectily helping me to get the courage to cut holes in my new ski!!!!

Factory B Pipe
Composite side rails
Kicker footwells
Hydro Turf - diamond
500 GPH bilge & alum. brkt. w/bilge switch
Duck bill
Hood straps
Bilet hood latch
billet hood hooks
Hood front air intake block off
Wet wolf pump cone
JSU Hand Pole spring tensioner
UMI Handle pole restraint

Then If I have any money left a UMI or RRP pole

I am just looking to have a solid ski to have some fun in the surf and also some flat riding. I like the way the SXR handles in the waves. If you jump the ski off a wave it hooks up alot faster than a stock '05 SJ. With the interval as close as it is, on Lake Erie, that means alot to my specific type of riding. I do like the playfullness of the SJ and also that my friend can ride 5-15 min longer, in waves, than I can.

It was a pretty difficult thing for me to cut a hole in the side of my tray. But I think it looks ok? Luckily I already had to drill a 1" hole for my bilge outlet last fall, that made this cutting a little easier!

If you decide on a pole, go with the X metal works pole, but thats just my opinion. Icerocket has a picture somewhere with the pole on the sxr, and it looks trick.

I think those holes are gonna be a lot bigger, aren't they??

You got some good stuff on the list.. the B-pipe will help a lot with the power.
Your duck bill might get smashed off if you hit the bottom of the lake.

Why do they look to small to you? The kickers fit fine but are a somewhat snug fit. I figured I would leave as much original hull as possible. I'll post more picts of them dry fit later tonight.

I've already hit a couple times on that side! Got some glass work to do on the left corner. I just didn't want to add the scupper yet, because I am not confident that they do not leak. I like the Blowsion one that is inside, but I leave my ski tied up in the water, sometimes all day, and I did not want to sink it! What do you guys think?

dont spend money on a block off plate for your hood, make your own for free. thats a rip off.

I ran duct tape for an air close off all last fall and figured I'd blow the 25 bucks this year. The crazy thing is I design steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts all day, and have access to a laser and brake, so I could make a fifty of them for 25 bucks!

Here's a shot of my new Wet Wolf cone. Bling!

I am trying to find a color to do on my composite rails. Black HT with Black rails seems pointless to me. Unless maybe there was some multi color thin stripes running down the rails? I was thinking about matching the Kawi flourescent green, maybe gray? Paint the whole top of the ski, then trash it this summer?
What do you think?

Looking good Brian. I have not had any problems with water leaks using the Blowsion one way valve. As for scuppers... hit and miss. Jason's 24:7 scupper leaks bad, but I have heard of other riders using different brands and they are fine. You should ask around, start a pole, of who is using what and see how they all perform...

BTW, Eric is bringing his ski over Saturday morning to start on his pipe and foothold install too...

Eric should be home later today. I will call him to find out what time he planning on coming over. I should be in the shop by 10 am putting my motor together... so anytime you want to come over is fine.
